I don’t generally write reviews though I felt compelled to write one as I had such a good experience with M.R Drains after such bad experiences with other drain companies, I cannot recommend them highly enough. In short, I had an overflowing drain by my kitchen window (that had already been cleared twice before) so this time I decided to call out a popular franchise as I had seen their vans around a lot and I believed they had the equipment to be able to fully resolve the issue. They came and said that the drains needed jetting and they would come back the next day. Next day they came out and jetted drains and said that the gulley had collapsed and quoted £1450 worth of work. We asked for them to use cameras so we could see and they said this was not possible. Within 24 hours the drain was overflowing again and I contacted the company to request the quote for the work as they would not guarantee the work. I chased another 3 times for the quote before I gave and searched online for another drain company. Matt came out to assess and said he didn’t think the drains were jetted properly and possibly not a hole in the gulley and said they needed re-jetting and also that he would take CCTV footage of the drains to accurately diagnose any further problems. Ta da, Matt and his associate came to the property and did such a thorough investigation of the problem which was actually originating from a blocked storm sewer, not the kitchen drain like all the previous plumbers had focussed on. They cleared the blockage and confirmed with the use of CCTV footage (that the previous company had said was not possible as the pipes were full of rubble!) that the gulley had not in fact collapsed! I had an awful time with the franchise not only in terms of misdiagnosis as well as customer service, they were so rude when I complained. Matt and his team were very polite and take pride in doing a good job which comes through in the time they spend on getting the job done well and explaining things. A rare find in today when plumbers seem to just want to get in take money and get out. I will definitely recommend, you won’t regret.

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. We contacted MR Drains Ltd and spoke with a their reception team who advised the person we needed to speak to was on the other line, but he’d call back within 5 minutes, which he did. We got a call back within minutes from Matt, who arranged to visit the property on the same day within 3 hours of receiving our call. He worked with our plumbers on site to investigate the drainage and track it with a camera. He went above and beyond in staying around to help the plumbers locate and lift other manholes. Like many others I just cannot recommend Matt and M.R.Drains more highly. Recently we had a very elusive problem with water ingress in the basement flat of our building on the New Kings Road, Fulham. Over a period of a month several so called drainage experts came to take a look. In short none of them had a clue despite charging vast amounts of money for camera surveys etc and giving eye watering estimates. It was our good fortune to stumble across Matt. First of all he arrived when he said he would and secondly had identified the problem in under half an hour. The cost of the video survey was peanuts in comparison to others and his equipment state of the art. By that evening he had emailed us the video, a report and a quote to send to our insurers. It was more than reasonable. Matt came several days later, again exactly when he said he would, and within a couple of days had repaired and lined the damaged pipes etc I felt completely comfortable leaving him with the keys of our property. We now have no water ingress and fully operational drains with a ten year warranty. Matt was very user friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I will definitely be recommending him to others.

Excellent service received from Matt and Harry. I had an urgent, serious drain and rodent issue at a residential property. I received an immediate response to my initial enquiry, and the work started within the week. They identified the issues, and were solution orientated, rectifying all of the problems. They were reliable, on time and tidy. They were not the cheapest quote, but the work and materials were of high quality, and you generally get what you pay for. A 10 year guarantee was also provided. I would definitely recommend them.

M. R. Drains was recommended by a plumber that I had used a couple of times before so I search for you on Google and called you to make an enquiry. My first impressions were very positive; I cannot recall who I spoke to but the lady was very friendly and helpful, took all the details and promised that somebody would call me back. Matt called back later that day; we discussed what I needed and agreed a date for the initial visit. Two days before the agreed date, Matt called to confirm and on the day of the visit I got a text message to advise how far away they were. The initial visit was swift and the required works were discussed and some camera work carried out.

The quote arrived in less than 24 hours with a request for my availability; I accepted the quote and my availability. Again, within 24 hours the date for the work was confirmed along with the time.

On the day the work was due to take place, Matt and his colleague arrived ten minutes early and confirmed that I was happy for the work to start. Matt explained exactly what would happen and patiently explained the various aspects of the work that they were carrying out. I was shown the finished job via the camera and by early afternoon all the work was complete and the invoice raised and settled. The following day the guarantee for the work arrived.

Right from the beginning, I was highly impressed by the service. From the initial call to enquire about some work through to receiving the guarantee, everyone that I have dealt with has been very professional, friendly and has taken the time to fully explain the work that was being done.
